 Ascending Leaders understands that we're not all at the same place in our spiritual journey. Some of us are still trying to figure out just what spiritual growth and discipleship mean. Others have been on this journey for awhile and are looking for tools to help us apply our changing attitudes and character in our families or workplaces. Still others may be stalled out, or life has sent you on a detour. Or, you may be ready to get back on the path that leads to real progress in this journey.

Wherever you are, Ascending Leaders has a study and a pace that is right for you. We believe that true discipleship is not how much we know, but how much we become like Christ; not to pass a written test, but to live lives with an attitude and behavior that are a clearer reflection of Jesus Christ.

Services 

Consulting/Coaching/Designing

We offer a complimentary one-time, one-hour phone consultation on discipleship pathways in your congregation. You tell us what you are doing in the area of discipleship, and we will suggest some next steps to make your congregational discipleship stronger. Schedule a free one-time consultation for your church

We also walk alongside churches in a consulting relationship helping them find greater health, focus and congregation-wide discipleship. We do not come with a "sealed system" that is not adaptable. Rather we listen, discern, analyze and guide a church to solutions that work for them.

You can contract with us for anywhere from one to eighteen months to meet with your church leaders and assist you in developing a quality discipleship pathway for your congregation. When the Apostle Paul wrote to the churches in Galatia and Colossae about the character traits that describe a Christ-like life, he called them the "fruit of the Spirit." We could also call them "dimensions of Christ-likeness." Spirit's Fruit is designed to help you become more Christ-like. The individual dimensions of the fruit of the Spirit - love, forgiveness, joy, peace, patience (including gentleness and humility), goodness (including kindness and gratitude), faithfulness and self-control - will serve as hooks on which to hang the characteristics that are consistent with a Christ-like life.

Your Self 

Your Self focuses on how God made you and the incredible potential you have to fit exactly into His purposes. Knowing yourself better enables you to love others more like Christ loves us--and to express it. In this study, you will learn about your spiritual gifts, personality, motivations and behavior, equipping & team style, interests, intellectual style, family of origin, life timeline/transitions and sacred pathway.



NOTE: Two prerequisites are required for this study:

  1. Charting Your Course  The NEW book guides triads through the experience in 7-sessions. The book can also be used in a weekend retreat/seminar format, presented by a trained AL Charting Your Course presenter.
  2. The Grip/Birkman Blueprint assessment. This assessment combines some of the best thinking on Spiritual gifts and styles of leadership with one of industry's best scientific assessments of behavior preferences and styles. You and your small group will dissect your report from your assessment during the Your Self self-discovery experience.



Your Influence 

God entrusts us with the assets that He ultimately owns. Your Influence investigates how we use, nurture, optimize, appreciate and steward the tremendous assets He has entrusted into our care.Your Influence consists of ten modules covering our care of key assets: time, money & possessions, relationships, intimate relationships, teamwork, leadership, change & conflict and our world.





Dream Teams: People 

Dream Teams: People is a three-module collection in our series on organizational character and leadership. Specifically designed to be taken as a team, it is ideal for ministry, leadership and staff teams. This study energizes the awesome power of people working together in synergy and unity as teammates.

Dream Teams: People adds the fourth element of "experience" to the other base three elements of our unique learning method.
